Struggling to Go to Church

I read an article today about a woman who struggled to go back to attending church after her divorce.  Her marriage and family were part of her church identity.  Going alone or only with her children wouldn’t be the same.  Yet, she realized that church, corporate worship, was a means of God’s grace in her life.  You may be facing a divorce or a whole host of other personal problems right now.  The habits of Christian life—prayer, Bible reading, corporate worship, etc., minister to our souls and bring us the health and healing we desire.  If your life is less than perfect (that’s all of us), I want to invite you to attend a local Christian church.  If you want help finding one in your area, let me know.

Thank you to the Gospel Coalition for publishing the article.  You can read it here.
